A Realm Reborn

Hey everyone. Just thought I should let you know my intentions for ARR (especially since people have been asking!). Yes, mb will continue as a database fansite for FFXIV:ARR. Yes, there are certainly uncertainties concerning what, exactly, mb will do... rumor has it that the Lodestone will contain database information, and if you haven't noticed, ffxivdb is jaw-droppingly amazing, but I'm convinced there will always be areas where mb can offer unique value. There are challenges ahead: item/recipe data changing, bestiary information needing to be recreated, etc. but you and I have known that for a long time. It's not only a challenge, it's an opportunity!

With that said, I and the FFXIV community will love contribution from you, if you're inspired to help. Possibilities include but are not limited to: gathering information about gathering and mobs, writing guides for leveling or mastering a class (or anything else), or creating really awesome maps that show elevation really well.
